We had a fantastic family dinner at Sushi Wushi — the menu had something for everyone, and all of us left very satisfied. Our teenage boys ordered the Tokyo Tuesday special and couldn’t even finish it — the servings were incredibly generous! I had the Chilli Jam Tofu, which was absolutely delicious. It came with a huge serving of rice, veggies, and perfectly cooked tofu in a rich, flavourful sauce. The wait staff were wonderful — friendly, attentive, and impressively didn’t need a notepad. They remembered everything we ordered without missing a beat. A very enjoyable evening. Thank you, Sushi Wushi! (Photos taken after some food eaten and still plenty left)
We came in for lunch on a weekday, very quiet but lots of take away orders. Nice place to sit and eat in. Had a Bento Box B, and entree sushi and sashimi. We were both quite full after! Food is great and made fresh by the chef there. Last time I got the main size sushi and sashimi, but that is best shared between 2. Staff are very friendly. Nice place that I think we’ll come back to
Sushi Wushi is hands down the best place for nice sushi in Eltham/surrounds. Each dish is made after order, so wether your getting miso, rolls or a bento, you are garenteed a beautiful lunch. Super fresh produce, the calamari from the bento box was a must try.
This restaurant was nice. Food was also good. Gyoza's were our favourite. Sashimi & Sushi were ok but did not blow my mind. Staff were helpful. We may be back to try the Calamari and some more of the cooked/fried meals. Miso Soup was nice by itself but didn't really need as much mushroom to be added.
All the food was delicious. I ordered bento, but it was fun because it came out in 3 layers.
Pretty sure this spot is the place I had sushi for the first time. I’ve now been to Tokyo and speak Japanese, so needless to say I’m sure it was quite influential for little 6 year old me. Very nostalgic decor and such lovely staff. The food is delicious and rich, and there are vegetarian options which is good. I had the tofu udon soup, takoyaki, and tea. Everything was delicious! I would specifically recommend the takoyaki though. Don’t ever change sushiwushi!
